The Bold New Way to Wear Your Faith

Psalm 30:5 – “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”

Storms roll in fast: a job loss, a doctor’s report, a betrayal you never saw coming. Jesus never promised a trouble-free life—but He did promise trouble won’t win (John 16:33).

John 16:33 – “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

1. Trouble is temporary.
David reminds us night feels long, yet morning is on God’s schedule (Ps 30:5). Even Paul calls suffering “light and momentary” compared to eternal glory (2 Cor 4:17).

2 Corinthians 4:17 – “Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”

2. Trouble is transformational.
Trials refine faith like fire refines gold (1 Pet 1:6-7). What the enemy means for harm, God repurposes for good (Gen 50:20; Rom 8:28).

3. Trouble is conquered.
“Take heart,” Jesus says, “I have overcome the world.” Your battle is real, but victory is already secured at the cross.

So when darkness feels endless, preach to your soul: “Morning is coming, and Jesus is already there.”
