Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
—Philippians 4:8
Your mind is the cockpit of your life: wherever your thoughts go, the rest of you follows (Prov 4:23). That’s why Paul lists eight thought-filters—true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, praiseworthy.
When worry barges in, run it through the list. If it fails, escort it out. 2 Corinthians 10:5 says to “take every thought captive” and make it obey Christ. Romans 12:2 calls it a daily mind-renewal.

Exchange doom-scrolling for a quick walk while praying Philippians 4:6-7.
Peace isn’t passive; it’s the fruit of practiced focus.
